About our rooftop landscape practice

We see terraces and green roofs as living architecture rather than decorative afterthoughts. Our approach joins landscape design, spatial planning, and plant expertise to create elevated places that invite daily use while respecting the technical realities of roofs. Each commission begins by understanding the client’s habits, the building’s exposure, and the way outdoor space can improve comfort, privacy, and visual calm high above the city.

Because rooftop environments are more exposed than ground-level gardens, every decision must be precise. Wind, heat reflection, load awareness, drainage, irrigation access, and maintenance routes all affect how a terrace will feel over time. We translate these conditions into layered planting schemes, clear spatial zones, and material directions that allow the finished landscape to look soft and natural without losing discipline or durability.

Our design language is grounded in restraint. We favor planting compositions that mature well, seating areas that feel integrated rather than added on, and structures that frame the city without overwhelming it. That balance helps a rooftop remain useful in the everyday: for a quiet coffee, a long lunch, evening guests, or simple retreat from the rhythm of the street below.

Clients value clear guidance throughout the process. We explain how the rooftop is organized, what each planting layer contributes, and how care should evolve through the seasons. This practical clarity is what turns a concept into a long-lasting space with real comfort and identity.
